Founded in 1998, IIF provides professional, responsive, experientially-based, all-hazards Emergency Management and Domestic Operations support services. The services include training, exercise development and execution, consultation, facilitation, long-term and on-call staffing support and a wide range of Role Player Support Services (RPSS).

Our IIF Domestic Operations Team is comprised of experienced professionals, each possessing subject matter expertise and years of experience and leadership in domestic operations and emergency management in both joint and interagency environments.

Team IIF members are nationally recognized leaders in emergency and crisis management for the military and civilian sectors. Training and Exercise Support:

IIF offers individualized on and off-site training, exercise and consultation support for its clients. All training is customized to fit the client’s unique threats/situations and to meet the client’s specified objectives. The IIF Team has extensive leadership, experience and expertise in the National Guard Bureau, National Guard Joint Force Headquarters, Joint Task Force – State Battle Staff and the Joint Operations Center (JOC) Staff for all facets of Domestic Operations. Our Team is exceptionally well versed in doctrinally sound Joint, Interagency, military and civilian crisis and emergency operations planning, training, organization, staffing and operational tactics, techniques and procedures. We are experienced in exercise concept design, development, planning and execution that extends to Combatant Commander Exercises, National Level Exercises, Principal Level Exercises, and Table Top Exercises supporting military and civil agency objectives. Our exercise support meets all Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) requirements.

Incident Response Support:

Team IIF’s Joint, Interagency Domestic Operations and Civil Emergency Management practitioners have extensive disaster management, incident response and recovery experience. Drawn from the National Guard Domestic Operations and Civilian Emergency Management professions, our respected personnel and consultants are knowledgeable and practiced in supporting our clients in their greatest time of need, through timely, on-scene advisory support and staff augmentation.

Consulting and Technical Assistance:

IIF provides premiere Domestic Operations, Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA), Homeland Defense (HD), and civil Emergency Management services from an “all-hazards” approach, including terrorism. We assist clients with disaster planning, training and exercise development, execution and performance evaluation, and may provide surge staff support during real-world response and recovery operations. Additionally, IIF is uniquely qualified to satisfy routine JOC and EOC staffing requirements including personnel recruiting, management and training.

• Extensive, real-world DomOps and Emergency Management leadership and operational experience.
• Former National Guard state J3′s, CoJS, NGB J33, CST Commander, Emergency Management Operations Chief, JOC Operations Officers and NCOs.
• Serves as prime DomOps contract support to the Joint Interagency Training and Education Center.
• Developed and executed over 100 JOC 101 Classes nationwide since May 06.
• Developed and executed numerous DomOps pilot courses including ABS, J2 DSCA, J3 DOMS, DSCA LNO and JOC 201.
