Liaison Officer Train the Trainer (LNO T-t-T):
The purpose of this course is to provide Soldiers/Airmen, who will perform as and/or train LNOs, the operational functions that every LNO needs to be proficient on in order to accomplish effective interagency coordination at the local, state, and/or federal level.
At a minimum the objective of the course will be to:
- Understand the basic civil emergency management, and the National Guard civil support framework and concept of operations.
- Understand the mission and the practical doctrinal roles and responsibilities of a National Guard LNO within an interagency environment.
- Understand the practical application of the tools, tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) used by LNOs to manage information, maintain and promote situational awareness (SA), and process requests for information/assistance and resources, originating from internal and external sources.
- Understand how to plan, resource, train and execute an effective LNO training program that results in a cadre of qualified professionals, ready to serve as LNOs in a complex interagency environment.
- Have a basic understanding of the knowledge, resources and skills necessary to conduct a LNO class.
