About Face
IIF Data Solutions, Inc. operates a highly successful youth education program in Alabama for the Army National Guard. About Face is an after-school & summer training program for in-school at risk youth between the ages of 14 & 18 that is designed to improve academic performance, develop life skills and assure employability. It employs activity-based classroom instruction, effective case management, work experience opportunities, and mentorship. About Face helps kids stay in school, prepares them to enter the workforce; helps to educate them on how to break the welfare dependency and the poverty cycles; provides a positive structure during hours of highest vulnerability where youth become the perpetrators or victims of crime; and supports the Army National Guard meet their mission of participation in the local community.
IIF Data has developed an efficient and effective program through a standard staffing model that provides value to the participants, client and community. The success and effectiveness of the program is due to three fundamentals. It begins with IIF Data's high professional standards for all employees and management, and is maintained by our intimate corporate oversight of every aspect of the program and the establishment and maintenance of high, but achievable performance standards. Depending upon the desired structure of the client and in accordance with the requirements of the state's Departments of Labor and Education, and financial management system, IIF Data establishes an in-state Program Office staffed by a State Program Manager (PM) and an Operations/Administrative Assistant. The PM evenly coordinates the personnel, administration, finances, logistics, schedules and training at each site. Currently, there are three training sites staffed with a Site Manager, Instructors, and Assistants. The IIF corporate staff maintains oversight, adherence to contract requirements and meeting deliverables.
