management Engineering

IIF Data Solutions, Inc. (IIF) serves the military, public and private sectors with an expansive range of Management Engineering support services. Founded in 1998, IIF has extensive experience in Management Engineering, Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and Management Advisory and Consulting services.

Our organization is comprised of experienced professionals, each possessing subject matter expertise and years of experience in all facets of Management Engineering.

Manpower Staffing Standards Development
The IIF Management Engineering (ME) team uses a hybrid manpower modeling process, developed over time that leverages the military and commercial experience of our people. This highly interactive and rigorous process guarantees tight and predictive staffing standards, issue identification and absolute customer satisfaction. Our process is complementary with the current United States Army Manpower Analysis Agency Five Phased Approach, closely adheres to AR 570-5, Manpower Staffing Standards System, and embeds current business practices.

Management Advisory and Consulting Services
Management Advisory and Consulting Services are “client” driven. These services may be directed by the chain of command or higher headquarters. Once in place, the IIF consultants and analytical team belongs to the customer. To accomplish our mission, we use a variety of methodologies and a comprehensive document to record all findings. An extensive report is provided along with recommendations and observations. All management findings are supported by detailed research and documentation.

Business Process Re-engineering (BPR)
We view BPR as our primary approach to issue resolution. Our process blends methodologies to re-engineer an organization’s core business processes. When we engage in a BPR, we anticipate using MS-3 analytical reviews to focus on improving processes, eliminating duplication, and linking workload levels to manpower decisions and resourcing. Our reviews include analysis to eliminate obsolete practices; consolidation of functions or activities; re-engineering and restructuring of organizations, functions or activities; adoption of best business practices; and, standardization of organizational staff elements. Additional tools that are available from our team include:

  • Systems Alignment (SA) for analysis, re-design, and integrate existing systems and databases supporting existing or re-engineered business processes;
  • Enterprise Integration (EI) and Change Management Implementation (CMI) used for business processes and systems integration within an enterprise architecture;
  • Organizational Performance Improvement and The Strategic Readiness System (SRS) when consideration is given to evaluating organizational structures using SRS methodology;
  • Lean Six Sigma for implementing change and generating continuous performance improvement.
